“I approached this place with skepticism. Yet unexpected depths revealed themselves with each passing moment.”

closed ..😶

I stand confused outside the house, unsure of how to enter. The front is closed off, like it’s not letting anything in. Wait, what’s this on the right? A door, not too big, just my size. I push gently and slip through with wide eyes. Under the shade of trees, there’s another door slightly ajar. Curious, I open it and step in, not too far. From the vast world outside, I escape into a personal kingdom, a world of my own.

plain .. 😔

In this area, it’s just houses and temples all around, Quiet and still, no signs of movement or sound. At times, a car rushes by in a fleeting blur, Then long stretches of silence, until next door stirs. Living in a twin house with wooden walls so thin, It’s easy to sense everything happening within. The simplicity, with little adornment, helps reveal, Every story, every detail, straightforward and real.

🙃 TUNE  OF  RELEASE  02  :  Absence Amplifies Presence.

effortful .. 🥺

It’s strange how everywhere I go feels tough, Lost in directions, the map’s not enough. The river’s over there, the market’s that way, I’m here, Even after circling, the path’s still unclear. Passing homes, shops, and a park or two, Some spots feel plain, some cluttered, sweat breaking through. I guide myself, my heart, to connect inside, And find something hidden within the familiar outside.

old .. 😳

An old, worn house looks lonely from the outside, No way it could be cheerful, you might decide. But right here, right now, I’m filled with delight, What magic did you cast, tell me, Grandma SuddSlee, so bright?

inconvenient .. 🙄

Opening, closing, folding away, day and night, Doing this every day, oh, it’s such a fight. Tuck the mosquito net, open the windows wide, Embrace the sunlight and fresh breeze outside. See the trees, the squirrels, the birds on the roof, Breathe deep, stretch the body, give it a little boost. A soft smile begins the ritual of starting the day, And when night  falls, the ritual of sleep comes into play.

worthless .. 😗

Why is the bathroom so vast and wide, This corner is wasted, value denied. Turn on warm water, soak and unwind, Give a special moment to ‘yourself’ to find. Then try the ‘simple tasks’ we usually do, Soak, wash, dry, fold the clothes anew. My things, My self, I give them ‘care’, Gradually, I see the meaning they bear.

detached .. 😑

The bedroom’s upstairs, the living room below, bathroom out back, dressing up by the stair’s flow. Separated by floors, walking to and fro, It’s tiring, you  know, why must things be so far apart? … Engaged here and there, well, it’s nice not to disrupt, Clear in our activities, focus here and now, from the start.

bothersome .. 🤨

The side wall of the house is open and bare, Ants and bugs fly, snails and skinks everywhere. A cat sneaks by, birds perch on a bending tree, All creatures are lively, and I must find peace, you see. Let go of disgust, cut out the irritation, and build a new understanding. In this shared ecosystem, we all belong—you and me.

dark .. 😬

Wooden floors, wooden walls, wooden tables and chairs, Dull, muted tones, not a spark of brightness anywhere. Reddish brown, yellowish brown, Are there really this many shades of brown around? I touch, I feel, running my fingers along the grain, Patterns and grooves, small holes remain. Each piece, each moment, a story untold, So much wood, so rich, with tales to unfold.

passive .. 🥱

Quiet and still, be careful, you see, Living like this can make life feel lazy. Sitting, lying, swinging in the hammock’s sway, Watching birds, the sky, letting the mind drift away. Once stressed, once strict, rushing through life, Now at ease, I find myself eager to thrive. Reading this, thinking that, ideas start to stream, Writing till nightfall, forgetting time in a creative dream.

vague .. 🤔

In a green garden, a bamboo table stands, Next to a gas tank, placed by strange hands. Amidst the bushes, it blends without sound, A deep clay pot on the left is found. A showerhead hose hangs high in the air, The more you stay, the stranger it’s there. Water the plants, cook, or take a seat, Whatever you need, it’s all quite complete!

Imperfect .. 🧐

Each piece of furniture and tool around, Made from scraps and broken things newly found. Rotten wood, steel pipes, and leftover paint, Mixed across the big wall in patterns so quaint. Chair frames with torn canvas, now woven with fresh string, A chipped pot and an old steamer, now a basin for rinsing. A broken-legged bench cut low, placed by the porch with care, Upside-down shelves, sideways chests—oh! What a quirky affair!
